Founded in 1933, Saint Anthony's High School is founded on the Franciscan principle, “Capture the heart and the mind will follow." This Roman Catholic college preparatory school encourages young men and women to nurture their moral, intellectual, aesthetic, and physical faculties in an atmosphere of faith, respect, and encouragement. Saint Anthony’s recognizes that true education is directed towards the formation of the whole person and, to be authentic, education must embrace a broad range of issues.

Saint Anthony’s High School is committed to nurturing the individual capabilities and unique talents of all members of the educational community and preparing them for the rapid changes of the information age.

Why Saint Anthony's High School

  • Facilities: Saint Anthony's has six new state-of-the-art science labs and seven college-level classrooms. The school has also built an amphitheater with stadium seating and monitors for instructional demonstrations of the Anatomage table, an ultramodern tool used to virtually dissect hundreds of organisms.
  • University accredited business classes: Saint Anthony's High Schoool offers students the opportunity to take unique business classes and earn college credits from Long Island University thanks to a special partnership between the university and Saint Anthony's High School.
  • Fine Arts program: The Fine Arts program at Saint Anthony's High School enjoys resources such as chorus and band rooms, art studios, and a dance studio. They spend hours practicing, crafting, creating, presenting and performing their work, whether vocal, instrumental, visual, or theatrical.
